Background

Jen Capital and Jen Development are part of the Chiaphua group of companies.

The Chiaphua Group, founded by Mr. Cheng Chik Chi and his three younger brothers in 1906, is a privately held group of companies that grew out of Hong Kong and is now represented internationally.

This family enterprise, started in Chaozhou as a metal stamping shop, moved its base to Hong Kong in 1937 where it expanded and diversified, and remained a private concern until incorporated as a limited liabilities company in 1947. Members of the Group and its affiliates are engaged in world-class manufacturing/marketing operations, international property developments, investments and education. Group affiliate companies include: Meyer Corporation and Chiaphua Limited.

Property Development

Property Development has been part of the group heritage since the 1960's. Over the years, the group has successfully developed more than 200 projects including high-rise residential units, urban renewal projects, Grade A office buildings, industrial buildings, starter homes, luxury homes and service apartments. In addition, the group has joint ventured with other top property developers such as Sun Hung Kai Properties, Cheung Kong, K Wah, Henderson Land, among others, in major development projects. 

Since 1991 the group has been established as one of the earliest and most successful international property developers to invest in Vietnam, and has since been actively involved in development, property management and property investment. Through Meyer Corporation the group is involved in home building, HVAC, multifamily as well as senior living projects in the U.S. West coast, as well as land banking and land development projects in Hong Kong and Japan.
